$100 Deposit to start Online Classroom. Remaining fee paid when student completes Online course and comes to Office to take the Permit test.

Driver's Ed Process



1. Select a Course: See our options for In-person & Online Classroom.


2. Register: Sign up for the course that works best for you.


3. Complete Teen Drivers Ed 30 hours of Classroom training. (In-person or Online)


4. Knowledge Test: If you're under the age of 18 you may take the Permit Test with us at our school. Call our Office to arrange a time to take the Permit Test if you have completed the 30 hours Online classroom.

If you're 18+ you have to take the Permit test at the DMV.


Note: When the student passes the permit test, has paid the require fee (in full), and is 15 - 17 years of age we can provided the MV-3001 Form (permit form).

You will take that form to the DMV and register for the learners permit.

If the student is 18+ years of age they must complete the Permit test at the DMV and will receive their learners permit directly from the DMV.



5. Behind the Wheel Training: If you passed the knowledge test and you have received your Learner’s Permit from the DMV, you are ready for BTW's! Our instructors will give you the best and most accurate training to help you pass your WI, Road Test and most importantly, keep you SAFE on the road. Give us a call at (414) 906-0652 to schedule your BTW's.


Remeber if you're 15/16/17 years of age you must hold your permit for a minimum of 6 months, be 16 years old, and complete all Drivers Ed to be eligible to take the Road test. If you turn 18 before your 6 month probation period ends you will be eligible when you turn 18 to take the Road Test.


6. DMV Road Test: After you complete your Classroom and Behind the Wheel training, we will send your online Electronic Completion to the DMV. They will see you've completed Driver's Ed with Lada Driver School, LLC and are now eligible for the Road Test.

About Instruction Permit



Anyone learning to drive a vehicle must first obtain Instruction Permit from the DMV.

Teenagers with Instruction Permit can only drive with an adult sponsor.


Teenagers who want to get Instruction Permit:

  • Must be at least 15 years old
  • Must be enrolled in Driver Ed course
  • Must pass the Knowledge Test and the Vision Test
  • Must be accompanied by parent/sponsor in the DMV


Service Center provide proof of name, identity, date of birth, Wisconsin Residency, and Social Security Card. (no photocopies)

Please check with DMV for acceptable documents.



Obtain Learner's Permit



Students take the Knowledge Test in our school, and then go to the DMV to pick up their permit.

To have the Permit Application (MV3001 Form) signed by us, the student:

  • Has to be at least 15 years old
  • Passed the Knowledge and Signs Test
  • Paid off all the remaining balance for the course.

After receiving the Instruction Permit, the student has to start the Behind-the-Wheel lessons within 2 months. Otherwise the school will cancel the permit.


Decision to opening a particular class / section is at the discretion of Lada Driver School, LLC, based on enrollment.

Driver License



The Driver License issued to a beginner driver, regardless of age is called Probationary Driver License.

Persons who hold a Probationary Driver License get double points for 2nd and subsequent convictions.

Teenagers with Probationary Driver License can drive alone, but will have GDL restrictions in effect for the first 9 months or under 18.


Teenagers who want to get Probationary License:

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Must hold the Instruction Permit for a minimum of 6 months before applying for a Probationary License.
  • Must complete Drivers Ed course (Minimum 30 hours classroom, 6 hrs of behind the wheel training, and 6 hrs of observation)
  • Must have accumulated at least 50 hours of supervised driving experience.
  • Must be at least 19 years old must hold Probationary Driver License for 2 to 3 years.
  • Pass the Road Test
